About G-SEC™

G-SEC™ is a non-commercial, independent collective of information security specialists based in Luxembourg, founded by Thierry Zoller

While G-SEC™ has been less active in recent years, this repository is intentionally maintained, as numerous publications continue to reference its work. Historically, G-SEC published research in information security and privacy, conducted vulnerability research, and contributed to the organization of local security conferences. G-SEC has also actively supported and participated in several pioneering information security initiatives and community movements.

    Who we are

Members of G-SEC™ are experienced information security practitioners with a strong track record in applied research and real-world security work. We have discovered vulnerabilities in products from all major vendors, broken the authentication scheme of a widely used wireless protocol, and led security software projects from inception to delivery. G-SEC™ has published whitepapers, proof-of-concept code, documented vulnerabilities, and released security tools freely to the community, with the explicit goal of strengthening the security of the open internet.

Our work has been featured in the New York Times, eWeek, Heise CT, SAT.1, and the Washington Post, and presented at conferences including Hack.lu, the Chaos Communication Congress (CCC), and CanSecWest.

We believe in responsible disclosure, open knowledge sharing, and contributing practical research that measurably improves security at scale.
